THE SEVEN DAYS.
1
Take your "before" photo
Just one. You don't have to like it, you just need it. Almost everyone skips this and regrets it later, because you can't see how far you've come if you never marked where you started. Same lighting, same spot, front on. Takes 30 seconds and you never have to show anyone.
2
Go for a 10-minute walk
No target, no tracking, no gear needed. Low intensity movement like this is one of the most underrated tools there is, for your body and your head. Leave the phone if you can. It doesn't need to be impressive, it just needs to happen.
3
Drink an extra glass of water
Most people walk around mildly dehydrated without realising it, and it gets mistaken for hunger, tiredness, or brain fog constantly. Don't overhaul anything, just add one glass to what you'd normally drink. First thing in the morning is the easiest time to remember.
4
Write down the one thing that's stopped you before
Naming a barrier takes away half its power. We're all very good at avoiding the thing we've never actually said out loud. It doesn't need to be profound, "I get bored" or "life gets busy" is enough. Just be honest with yourself.
5
Get to bed 30 minutes earlier
Sleep is the foundation everything else sits on. Poor sleep quietly wrecks your appetite, your recovery, and your willpower, often without you connecting the dots. Start winding down half an hour earlier than usual, phone away if you can manage it.
6
Plan tomorrow's meals tonight
Decision fatigue is the quiet killer of "eating well." Deciding in the moment, when you're hungry and pressed for time, is how good intentions fall apart. This doesn't need to be a full meal plan, just a rough idea of what you're having is enough to change the outcome.
7
Look back at everything you've done
Six small things, done. That's not nothing, that's proof you can follow through. Notice how you feel right now compared to seven days ago. That feeling is the whole point. Don't let it stall here.
